About Me

Tabitha Belshee

As a first-generation college student and professional, I have a long history of forging my own path. I believe in going where I can make the biggest impact. It is the approach that got me to Princeton and it is the approach I take in progressing my career.

At Princeton, I was often found supporting other students with their applied statistics work as a Center for Statistics and Machine Learning TA and the Head Tutor of Political Statistics. I was also a dedicated Residential College Adviser, yoga teacher, and TIPS-certified bartender.

Since graduating, I have completed two years of direct service. One in grassroots education activism and college matriculation among under-resourced high school seniors. The other was an AmeriCorps service year in a Refugee Resettlement Agency during the 2021 Afghanistan refugee crisis. I am currently combining my interest in global migration with my quantitative skills at SimpleCitizen, an immigration legal tech startup acquired by Fragomen.

On a personal note, I recently relocated to the Charleston Metropolitan Area and enjoy finding alligators in my spare time.
